World Environment Day 2023 Celebration

Join the global effort to protect and preserve our planet on World Environment Day with various activities, workshops, and initiatives aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices.

World Environment Day, celebrated annually on June 5th, is the United Nations' principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of our environment. The 2023 theme, "Solutions to Plastic Pollution," emphasizes the urgent need to address plastic waste and explore sustainable alternatives. This year’s celebrations will feature a range of activities including tree planting drives, beach clean-ups, educational workshops, and sustainability fairs. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions on environmental issues, learn about innovative green technologies, and contribute to projects that promote eco-friendly practices. By participating, individuals and communities around the globe can demonstrate their commitment to environmental stewardship and work towards a healthier planet.
