Khandala, 24 August, 2024: The IT Professional Lab, working in association with RRI Skill and Knowledge Foundation, received a special visit from IAS officer Gandharva Rathod, Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh Skill Development Corporation. The visit was aimed at interacting with students and understanding the efforts being undertaken to promote digital education and skill development among rural youth.

During the visit, the IAS officer interacted with students undergoing computer training and appreciated their enthusiasm towards learning modern technology and digital skills. He gathered detailed information about the various training programs and skill development courses being conducted under MKCL (Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited) and discussed the growing importance of technology-oriented education in today’s competitive world.

Addressing the students, Rathod highlighted the importance of English communication skills, personality development, and continuous skill enhancement for building a successful career. He encouraged students, especially those from rural backgrounds, to make the best use of opportunities provided through skill-based education and to develop confidence to compete in the modern employment ecosystem.

He also shared insights about career planning, discipline in professional life, and the increasing role of technology in shaping future job opportunities. The interactive session proved to be highly motivational for the students, who actively participated and asked several questions regarding career guidance and future prospects.

On this occasion, Naresh Sharma, General Manager of Himachal Pradesh Skill Development Corporation, was also present and appreciated the initiative of the training center and RRI Skill and Knowledge Foundation for providing quality computer education and skill training to students.

As part of the traditional welcome, the visiting officials were honored with a Maharashtrian Pheta ceremony by the students and staff. The visit concluded with an interactive discussion and group interaction session, leaving the students inspired and motivated towards skill development and career growth.

The management of IT Professional Lab and RRI Skill and Knowledge Foundation expressed gratitude to the visiting officials for their valuable guidance and encouragement to the students.
