Celebrate Teachers' Day with Scientific Outreach at ZP School Narayanpur
On September 5, 2025, the RRI Skill and Knowledge Foundation celebrated Teachers' Day through a high-profile collaborative event at the Zilla Parishad (ZP) School in Narayanpur. In a significant move to bridge the gap between premier scientific institutions and rural education, the foundation partnered with the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune, and its General Services (GS) Section to honor local educators and inspire the next generation of students.

The celebration focused on the dual themes of "Knowledge and Innovation." While the program honored the selfless dedication of the school’s teaching faculty, it also served as a platform for scientific outreach. By involving experts from IITM Pune, the RRI Skill and Knowledge Foundation aimed to introduce rural students to the world of atmospheric sciences and technical proficiency, aligning with its vision of a self-reliant and knowledgeable rural India.

The event was led by Hrishikesh Tambe, Founding Member of the RRI Skill and Knowledge Foundation, and featured technical expertise from Rutvik Jamdade, IT Officer at IITM Pune. The collaborative spirit was further strengthened by the presence of Adv. Abhishek Jagtap, Samradnya Taware, and Priti Wable, representing Pune Social. The participation of the Sarpanch of Narayanpur ensured that the initiative was deeply rooted in local community leadership.

Through this partnership with the GS Section of IITM, the RRI Skill and Knowledge Foundation has demonstrated the importance of bringing advanced technical insights to the grassroots level. By honoring teachers and providing students with access to experts from a national institute, the RRI Skill and Knowledge Foundation continues to strengthen community institutions and build sustainable pathways for youth empowerment in the Purandhar region.
